Serving Kentuckiana School Music since 1890

Established in 1890, Conrad Music Service was at one point the 4th oldest family owned music store in the country. Founded as Conrad & Son Piano Co., Inc., by C.W. Conrad & Son Claude in 1890, it became Conrad Music Service in 1960.

Specializing in school band & orchestra, Conrad Music Service calls on an average of 100 schools per week in approximately 25 counties in the Kentuckiana area. With 15 employees, Conrad Music Service each year readies up to 3,000 band & orchestra instruments to send into the hands of aspiring musicians at the start of school.

“Music Education is what we believe in. That’s why all our road representatives have teaching degrees, and most have teaching experience. We believe music is an integral part of a better life for students. It’s a big part of what we do”
